A public private partnership marketing made in NYC fashion brands as true sustainability. Buying and supporting local companies that pay real wages that build with quality to last is true sustainability

The 2008 financial recession formed significant tailwinds for fast fashion. Meanwhile, sustainable fashion continued to focus on the source of textiles (organic) rather than the human side of fashion production. I saw an opportunity to show the consumer that while Made in NYC fashion might be priced higher (living wages, better quality materials), purchasing these items meant practicing sustainability (supporting local economies, clothes that last longer). I established key partnerships and cooperation with the CFDA, NYEDC, premier retail stores such as
Carson Street, and fashion brands such as Nanette Lepore, Rogan, and Engineered Garments. Full concept (partially executed) included QR code loyalty program and consignment store program.
